Songs and storytelling
03 Mar 2023Form 4 have had a great time this week with all the various Book Week activities.
They had some excellent questions for Gareth P Jones, the visiting author, and thoroughly enjoyed his storytelling and songs. They also took part in the house quiz and tested their knowledge of popular books and dressed up as various book characters.
In maths, they have been focusing on division and tackling the bus stop method. Although tricky at first, they are now all getting to grips with it.
In science, they had another go at testing the flow rate of various liquids as the first attempt did not produce accurate results. This time, they worked out the speed that several liquids travelled, although ketchup stuck stubbornly to the tray!
