Movement, 3D shapes and fractions

This week, Form 3 have been finding out more about forces and movement, 3D shapes and fractions.

In science, Form 3 have been testing whether the weight and size of a ball will affect how far it travels when pushed. They conducted their own experiments in small groups and then they had a race to see whose ball travelled the furthest.

In maths, Form 3 have created their own 3D shapes and described them using their properties.  They have also been sorting fractions into equal and unequal, finding 1/2, 1/4, 1/3, 1/5.

In gym, the children have been performing their routines to our judge Mrs Curling.  They all did brilliantly.  Well done!
