The fun began with a delicious BBQ and then it was time for the treasure hunt. The children had to collect letters from each clue and solve the riddle to lead them to the next place. Once they'd collected all the letters, it was time to solve the anagram and find out which teacher had their prize.

 

After that there was time for initiative exercises in houses. Could the children cross the shark-infested custard without putting their feet on the ground?  It turns out that, after many failed attempts, they could and then it was time for the campfire, hot chocolate and marshmallow toasting.

 

Bedtime provided much excitement, but the children eventually settled down and all of them got at least some sleep. The morning saw a 6:00 am football match and an al fresco breakfast before the tents were dismantled and everyone headed home.
