Making close observations
08 Sep 2023Form 4 have had a great start to the new school year.
They have written recounts of their holidays and begun work on place value in maths. There has also been time to experiment with light sources and prove that light travels in a straight line.
The children were particularly impressive in their first art lesson this term. They all produced a still life drawing by listening carefully to instructions and making close observations of the objects. Their finished pieces are already on display in the classroom.
They are also very excited (and just a little nervous) about taking part in competitive matches against other schools this year.
