A broad range of topics

Form 4 have been busy rounding numbers this week in maths. This has incorporated 5 digit numbers and decimals for several of the children and a chance to apply their problem-solving skills to mathematical puzzles.

In science, the children had the opportunity to use light boxes and prisms in the science lab, aiming to bend the light and make rainbows on their paper. They also had the chance to test various objects to see if they reflected or absorbed the light.

Humanities looked at the extent of the Roman Empire and some of the things Romans brought to Britain. We also looked at how we know so much about Roman times and the legacies they've left behind.

They have also all been enjoying the new clubs available this term.
