In science, they were set the challenge to recreate their digestive system on a t-shirt. The dimensions were quite tricky to get right and the children were surprised by how large their intestines in particular were. They were all very pleased with their final outcomes.

 

 

 

Measurement has continued to be the focus in maths and the children have been carrying out various investigations as well as practising converting between both litres and millilitres, and between grams and kilograms.

 

In English, the children have begun writing rhyming poetry inspired by a short video, Sprout Boy. They came up with a list of rhyming words for sprout and then looked at the rhythm of the original poem. They then wrote extra verses and are currently typing them up and choosing how to present them using Google Classroom.
