Anti-Bullying Week
14 Nov 2025This week, Form 5 have been focusing on Anti-Bullying Week in their PSHE lessons.
The children have explored what bullying is, how to recognise the different types of bullying, and how it can make people feel. They took part in thoughtful discussions and roleplayed different situations, thinking carefully about how they might respond in real life.
A key focus was on the role of the bystander, someone who sees bullying happening but isn't directly involved. Form 5 discussed why it’s so important to speak up if you notice someone being treated unkindly, or if a friend is upset. They showed great empathy and maturity when thinking about how to help others feel safe and supported.
In gymnastics, the class have been working on a range of moves, including cartwheels and handstands, with a strong focus on technique and body control. They have also had the apparatus out, using the vault to practise hitting the springboard with confidence and speed, and working hard on their landings to stick them cleanly.
