Elections week
20 Jun 2025What a week it has been for the children in Form 6! On Tuesday morning, the School Council Hustings took place and 18 members of the class stood up in front of the Main School and delivered their speeches.
Up for grabs are the following positions in the 2025-2026 School Council; Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl, Nightingale House Captain, Johnson House Captain, Fry House Captain, and Cavell House Captain.
All of the children were absolutely amazing and it is very clear that a lot of time and effort went into preparing their speeches, as well as campaigning out on the playground during their break times.
A huge well done to all of the children who took part. We wish you all the best of luck. Results will be announced during Prize Giving on Thursday 10th July.
In French, the children have been playing games and practising saying which activities they do on different days of the week. They successfully managed to conjugate the verbs and they had a lot of fun at the same time. They are all now looking forward to French Day next Thursday.
Finally, the children have now started their rehearsals for the end-of-term production, Dream on. Everyone has worked hard to learn their lines and the children are now busy learning the songs in their music lessons. Keep up the hard work, Form 6!
