Enigma on the Nile

Despite it being a very busy week with Form 4's performance of Enigma on the Nile, there was still time to enjoy the RHPA Easter Egg Hunt out on the paddock.

Form 4 have been experimenting again this week. They were asked to make a jar full of marbles, sand, salt, rice and water. That part was quite straightforward, but the children were then asked to give everything back (apart from the water) in its original state! There were hints and offers of equipment along the way, but the children had to decide as a team how they were going to tackle the challenge. They haven't quite finished yet, but hopefully they will have everything back by the end of next week.

In maths, they have been calculating time intervals and using them to read and complete timetables. They quickly realised that column methods won't work in many instances and have instead been using number lines to calculate.
This week has also finally been time for the Form 4 production. The children particularly enjoyed dressing up in their costumes for the rehearsal to the school and then spent time perfecting some of the scenes in time for the first of their performances. More photos will be available on our Facebook Page.
