Kent Life visit
12 Jun 2026The trip to Kent Life was amazing!
We arrived in plenty of time, so we walked around looking and learning about all the farm animals. We then learned about the Victorian era. This was really fun and very educational. The children have decided that they would not like to work down the mines, in a factory, being a servant or sell on the street.
Form 2 then had a Victorian garden workshop. The trip ended with a bumpy tractor ride and stroking the small animals in the cuddle corner. A fun-packed trip! I must also add how well Form 2 children behaved with exceptional manners as always.
Back in the classroom, the children had to solve a problem using odd and even numbers. The children realised that they had to look at the ones digit. I was astonished to witness that I could not trick Form 2. They were also working hard on multiplication and division.
French Day and Dig Deep and Dunk a Donut for Demelza were highlights of the week too. Form 2 really enjoyed it when a Form 6 pupil read a French story to them.
Form 2 enjoyed writing about their trip. They enjoyed learning many facts and they performed an amazing assembly to Pre-Prep about the Victorian era. Another fabulous, fantastic, fun week in Form 2.
