Little rays of light

It has been a week of scientific understanding in Form 7.

After an interesting assembly about viruses and how they travel around the human body, the children turned to studying light particles in science lessons.

Through the use of ray boxes, the class were able to see how light travels in straight lines, reflecting off of some surfaces, whilst passing through others.

In maths lessons, Form 7 have been learning about the topics of negative numbers, as well as area and perimeter. They were tasked with creating and answering questions of their own that they thought an examiner should ask to check if somebody understood the topic well.

They really enjoyed giving the questions a theme of their choice and adding relevant diagrams.
