Many different languages

Form 4 enjoyed dressing up this week to represent various different countries as part of Modern Languages Day.

They tried answering the register in a range of languages and several members of the class took part in an assembly to share the languages they spoke with the rest of the school. There was also time for a language treasure hunt where the children had to find various German, Spanish and French phrases and then have a go at saying them.

The children have been practising their addition skills in maths and using them to tackle word problems, whilst in English, they have been trying to fill in the missing part of the story from the book The Tunnel by Anthony Browne.

In art, the children have turned their thoughts to autumn and used modelling clay to create autumnal-themed plaques.
