As they entered the science lab for their lesson, they stumbled across a crime scene. Poor Mrs Carn has had her telescope taken and she has asked Form 4 to find out who has taken it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The children set to work gathering evidence. One of the children got to test out a forensics suit, complete with gloves and overshoes, and the others understood the importance of not tainting the evidence. They found footprints, fingerprints, a few strands of long hair, a piece of torn fabric and what appears to be a shopping list. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr Skinner kindly provided camera footage which showed 12 possible suspects in the vicinity the night before. The children have taken on two suspects each and are now hoping to track down the culprit. We will keep you updated on our progress.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the children have been classifying 3D shapes in maths and planning a mysterious story in English. They have also been exploring Kenya using Google Earth as part of their geography work.
