Overcoming challenges
20 Mar 2026Form 4 were excited, and a little nervous, to perform their dress rehearsal at the beginning of the week to the rest of the school.
They did an excellent job of remembering their lines, they sang beautifully and every one of them spoke clearly and confidently. Well done Form 4. Be sure to keep an eye out for the photos of the Form 4 production which will be shared on our Facebook Page next week.
They have also had time to carry out an experiment in science. After keenly making a mixture of marbles, rice, sand, salt and water, the children were slightly perplexed when they were then asked to give all the separate components back! The marbles were quickly removed but the rice and the sand proved more of a challenge. The children are now in the final stage of separating the salt from the water.
Form 4 have continued their work on time in maths, moving on to reading timetables and calendars as well as continuing to practise telling the time. In humanities, the children finished learning about the important days in the Easter celebrations and they also enjoyed our annual RHPA Easter egg hunt out on the Paddock.
