Pitch perfect
24 Apr 2026It has been lovely welcoming back all the Form 6 children this week and what an action-packed week they have had!
We've celebrated birthdays, shared news from the holidays, talked about camp, started cricket and athletics lessons and on Thursday, the class went on a trip! The excitement doesn't end here, as next week the children are off to Norfolk Lakes, which they are hugely excited about. During Form Time, we have talked about what to expect and the children have been able to ask any questions they may have had.
We have had the best weather for cricket and athletics this week and in athletics, the children have started with some sprinting around the oval track and they have been developing their bowling and fielding skills in cricket.
On Thursday, Form 6 went to Farringtons School for a rehearsal for the IAPS Festival of Singing. They got a flavour of what it was like to sing as part of a massed choir as they rehearsed in the Chapel and will be working hard in their music lessons between now and then to polish any last bits in time for the event itself which is on Monday 11th May. Please do make sure to book your tickets!
