During mathematics, the children have been consolidating doubling numbers, symmetry, place value, and their times tables. They have used the hundreds, tens and ones dienes to make large numbers. Super work!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In English, they wrote about Handa’s surprise. They created their own stories by changing the characters and fruit.

In humanities, the children learned about China. They looked on Google Maps and they learned many interesting facts.

In science, the children went on a walk to identify different materials around the school. They spotted items made from wood, metal, plastic, glass, and many building materials. We then discussed where the materials originated. It was another productive week.

During computing, Form 2 have continued to work on their animal PowerPoint. They have added text, colour and images.
