U9 v Solefield
The U9 A team played Solefield away. It was a close game, but unfortunately we lost 9-7. The player of the match was Euan. He was man of the match because he was good at tackling players, his passing was good and he was good at supporting his players. But we could improve at taking tackles and not always doing wild offloads. George
U8 v Solefield
The score was close, but Solefield School won 9-5. Arthur was the player of the match. The people who scored were Beau with 3 and Remy got 1 and Jasper got 1. Leo
U10/11A v Solefield
The score was 13-11 to us. The first few minutes of the match were very active as 4 tries were scored in around 5 minutes. The match was quite even until we managed to score a few tries and make the score 8-3 to us. By the end of the first half, the score was 8-4 to us. In the second half, both teams scored some tries and played very well and it was a close match, ending 13-11 to us. Overall, it was a very good result and everyone played extremely well. Zachary
U10/11B v Solefield
The sun was shining for the U10/11 B Team during our match against Solefield on Wednesday. It was a close game, with Freddy, Henry and James all scoring some excellent tries but, despite our strong efforts, Solefield eventually took the win at 12-9. Theo
U8/9
We had a good game in the first half and I scored 3 tries and then Rion scored 1 try. In the second half, Rowan had a few good passes and some good runs and then I scored 2 tries and Rion one. All of the team had good passes. The game ended 7-5 with a win for Russell House. Finlay
U9 v Caterham
We played an excellent match against Caterham and we scored a few tries. Our defensive line was good and we worked hard at moving up and back together. Markus played really well and ran through the line, setting up some tries. He was my player of the match. Seán
U10/11A v Sevenoaks Prep
Our last rugby fixture of the season was at home vs Sevenoaks Prep. The opposition got off to a good start scoring the first try early in the game, but by half-time the score was level. It was another great team performance from Russell House and a close match. The final score was 9-7 to Sevenoaks Prep, but I thought we played brilliantly and have developed so well as a team this term. Freddy put in a great performance. I have really enjoyed playing alongside the Form 7 boys this year. Kit
