It has been a superb term of sport and we are hugely proud of all the children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aside from Sports Day preparation, the children have been busy with rehearsals for the Summer Production, Pet Side Story. On Thursday, they had their technical rehearsal and on Monday, they will be performing their dress rehearsal to the whole school. We are very much looking forward to seeing the main production on Thursday and Friday evening.

On Thursday, Form 6 took part in the Inter-House Maths competition. The event was split into two parts. The first was a table round, featuring a crossnumber (think crosswords with mathematical calculations) and a selection of ditloids. The second part of the challenge involved a mental arithmetic chain game on the interactive whiteboard, where the children were required to make a string of calculations to find the final answer. Can you solve some of Form 6's favourite ditloids from the day? There are 6 S on a H. 5 is the SR of 25. There are 1000 Y in a M.

In other exciting news, Form 6 received letters with some news from their penials in France! We are going to use what we have learnt this term to write a final letter, describing what their favourite subject and activity is. We are also using our knowledge of countries to tell them where we are going on holiday this summer.
