Encouraging the children to manage their time effectively is a big part of this project and, with most tasks revealed in detail to the boys and girls, their project folders are now starting to take shape nicely. Some of the children’s favourite pieces to date have been the maps of the countries of South America, the article about biodiversity and the infographic about deforestation. Outside of the classroom, there has been a lot of sporting effort from Form 7 too. Following on from the staff Tour de Kent fundraiser on Monday, the children have performed well in events of their own on the rugby pitch, on the netball court and at the chessboard. We also wish luck to the children taking part in the ISA South London Netball Championships at Lingfield School today and the U11 South East Schools Tumbling and Sports Acro Regional Championships at Staines Prep on Sunday.
