The heat is on
26 Jun 2026This week, the children have battled bravely against the heat to keep working hard in their lessons.
On Monday, Pet Side Story was unveiled to the rest of the school, in the form of a dress rehearsal. The effort that has gone into learning lines has clearly paid off and the children benefitted from having a live audience. By the time of reading this, they will have performed to parents and families on Thursday evening and will be preparing for their Friday performance. We hope that you enjoyed watching the show as much as we did. Be sure to check our Facebook and Instagram early next week for photos of the performance.
Elsewhere in school, the class enjoyed a carousel of activities instead of regular cricket lessons during their games session on Wednesday. After splitting into smaller groups, the children engaged with three different activities, which were pétanque, archery and blind trail. Whilst all three were enjoyed by the children, the general consensus was that the blind trail was the most fun. It involved leading a blindfolded partner along the trim trail, focussing on clear and concise instructions to help them avoid obstacles and clamber across equipment.
Friday also saw our Form 7 House Captains deliver their final House Assemblies alongside their classmates. With a variety of team games and fun activities on offer, I would like to congratulate our House Captains on their efforts to lead their teams across the year. They have done a stellar job!
