04 Jul 2025Form 6 recently received a letter from their pen pal, which was written entirely in French.
They carefully translated the letter to understand it fully and felt excited to write back. Before the school year ended, they wanted to send one final response. In their letter, they shared their plans for the summer holidays and described the new skills and knowledge they had gained during their French lessons this term. Writing this letter was not only a way to practise their language skills, but also an opportunity to reflect on their progress and express their enthusiasm for continuing to learn. Well done, Form 6!
In cricket, Form 6 and 7 have learned a new game, called 4 bats. They thoroughly enjoyed playing a mini tournament this week and there was plenty of competitiveness to go around!
As we near the end of the school year, the children have been reflecting on their time in Form 6 and they have talked about what they are looking forward to in Form 7 and any worries they might have. It has been so lovely hearing all of their fondest memories and it is clear that the class trip to Norfolk Lakes was enjoyed by everyone. Here are some of the highlights of Form 6's year:
- Sports matches and events, especially athletics
- Inter-House events
- Giant Stand up Paddleboarding at Norfolk Lakes
- Saying good morning to Mrs Curling and Mrs Knight
- Being with friends
- Learning new things
- The Form 6 / 7 production
- Helping out in Robins and Nursery
- All the clubs
- Having fun
- All the trips
Mrs Knight and I have had an amazing year in Form 6, filled with learning, fun and laughter. Well done and thank you to all the children in Form 6 for making it such an enjoyable year. We wish you all the most wonderful summer.
Mrs Curling and Mrs Knight
