They are very keen to begin their cricket lessons and they are particularly enthusiastic about the Form 4 camp later this term.

In English, the children have written a recount of their Easter holidays, taking care to correctly punctuate their work and use a range of adjectives to interest their reader.

Place value has been the focus in maths and the children have been looking at negative numbers and rounding, in particular. There has also been time to consolidate their knowledge of ordering and reading large numbers.

Science and humanities saw the introduction of two new topics; magnets and springs, and Hinduism. The children also presented their artwork beautifully in a whole school assembly.
