Form 4 have all recovered well from the excitement of their camp.

The children all had a wonderful time, despite a distinct lack of sleep, and they are now excited for further camp adventures next year. All the camp photos are available on our Facebook Page.

They also enjoyed participating in the Inter-House Maths Competition. Fiercely competed games of battleships were followed by quizzes and number puzzles to determine the winning team. Form 4 scores will be added to the other year groups before the overall winning House is announced.

In English, the children have begun looking at poetry with a focus on figurative language. They have been working on similes, personification and metaphors to produce their own dragon poems.

In humanities, the children have been finding out more about the Maasai tribe in Kenya and their lifestyles. They were also very fortunate to have first-hand knowledge from one of the members of the class who kindly brought in some wonderful photos from their recent visit.
