They learned a song and ordered the days of the week in the correct order. They practised writing these words on a worksheet and finished with a wordsearch activity. 

 

In science, the children were looking at where cotton and plastic come from.  They were discussing the properties of both materials and deciding what items were made from and why.

 

In maths, the children have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes and the different types of triangles. They built shapes from lolly sticks to help identify the sides, vertices and angles. They also had a go at making triangles on their peg boards.
