Leg 2 of the Legacy Project
09 Jan 2026It has been an exciting and busy first week back for our Form 7 pupils, which has included braving the elements on the sports fields and courts, swimming and a packed week of own clothes days to name but a few events. Thank you for supporting the children with their School Council Legacy Project and for donating to The Rainbow Trust in the process.
In lessons, the children have continued with their work on the topic of light in science, and Judaism in humanities, which has raised some discussion about the similarities between some of the world’s major religions. In maths, the children have begun an ongoing project about circles which has required them to draw circles using a compass and measure the circular faces of 3D objects using combinations of strings, tape measures and rulers.
The week has ended in an exciting fashion too, with Friday’s House Assemblies being the first of this term that work towards House Music in Week 6. The children listened to songs from the 1990s and voted for their favourite. The results will be announced in assembly next week, with a song being assigned to each House.
