They began with a session in the library where there was a chance to read a variety of newspapers and share some of the interesting articles they had found. Then they started looking at the key features of newspaper reports, picking out the who? what? why? where? and when? in a range of articles. They have also planned their own newspaper reports and are looking forward to completing them next week.

During their French lessons, they have been learning the key vocabulary to talk about their families. They have practised asking and answering questions about the members of their family and shared this with the class.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In maths, they have been calculating area and perimeter, and in science, they carried out an investigation into magnet strength. Humanities has focused on Hindu gods and goddesses and some of the key festivals.
