Form 4 had a lot of fun in their science lessons this week. They began by investigating how we see colour by carrying out a range of experiments using coloured filters. Although it was tricky, the children managed to produce white light by overlapping red, green and blue filters and using torches as a light source. They also made their own colour spinners to show that white light is a combination of all the colours of the rainbow.

In humanities, the children discovered why the Romans wanted to invade Britain and then they had a virtual tour of Lullingstone villa, looking at the heating and bath systems in a Roman villa.

In maths, the focus has been on addition and problem-solving activities and in English the children have been planning their own section of a story based on The Tunnel by Anthony Browne.

They also had a lot of fun dressing up for Modern Foreign Languages Day.
