A taste of Tudor times

Form 5 donned costumes and delved into Tudor times at Knole.

Form 5 had a fascinating trip to Knole House as part of their new topic on the Tudors. Over the course of the day, they studied Tudor artefacts, learnt about the house and its portraits and created their own self-portraits.

They also dressed up as Tudors to learn more about the style of clothes worn. The clothes ranged from those worn by maids and craftsmen to those of the Lady and Lord of the house.

On Tuesday, the Form took part in their Inter-House Maths Challenge. The children worked in their house groups to answer lots of mathematical problems.

Once their sheets had been marked, the children could then make any suitable corrections. It was however a race against time. The children needed to answer as many questions as possible to gain a winning score.
