Swapping units of measure

Form 5 measured objects and converted the results into different units of measure.

Form 5 have been learning about units of measure and conversions. They used different measuring devices, from trundle wheels to metre sticks to rulers, to measure a variety of lengths which they then had to convert into another unit of measure.

For example, a pencil was measured at 6cm. When it was converted into kilometres, it turned out the pencil measured 0.00006km! The children then had to decide the most appropriate units to use for measuring different items.
