Dunking letters

Form 4 have been writing letters and then dunking them in tea. Can you guess why?

Form 4 destroyed their work this week! There was, however, a good reason behind their actions.

They had written letters imagining what life was like as a Roman soldier. To make the letters look as authentic as possible, once they had written them, they screwed them up, tore the edges and soaked them in cold tea. It was great fun - and very effective.

In Maths the children have been looking at 2-d shapes. They played a game to pair up the picture, name and properties of various shapes. It wasn't as easy as they had first thought.
